Play therapy
Play therapy is a form of psychotherapy for children, where ‘play’ is used to help children when they are experiencing social, emotional or behavioural difficulties.
Child coaching
Child coaching is a positive motivational approach that focuses on creating awareness within the child, of the self, emotions and behaviour. The aim is to help a child unlock his or her inner strength, potential and qualities. Child coaching is short term, encourages skills development and the practising of new behaviour in a safe setting through the use of play techniques and psychoeductaion.
Parenting support is when a therapist works together with parents and caregivers to better understand and develop in their parenting roles provides them with practical advice and skills, to enhance the parent-child relationship.
Learning support with a specific focus on reading – Reading is the most effective tool to experience the past, understand the present and invest in the future. The Wise Eye reading programme helps poor readers to become better readers, and good readers to become exceptional readers. .The programme believes in developing all the sub-skills necessary for the reading process and focuses on:
